Yeah, I agree. Some users are trying to turn it into a game. It's a distraction but I think we need to ignore it.
If we start banning users it opens the door to further censorship and we know how that worked out on Reddit.

We can't control what other people post in a site like this. All we can do is continue digging and pursuing promising leads. Fight the antisemitism by upvoating quality content and discussions.

When Reddit started censoring people and banning users is when it started to go downhill. I don't think it's a problem with democracy but censorship.
Sometimes it sucks because you have to see things that you don't agree with or that make the community look bad. There's no perfect democracy.
You can have voat where there are trolls trying to distract and discredit. You can have reddit where there aren't any anti-semitic trolls but there are shills and the subreddit gets censored into exile anyway.
I prefer having a platform to investigate even if that means sorting through the distractions.
