So I am guessing a lot of us are here because of what's happening at /r/pizzagate. It's funny, every time I check out voat it's because of some weird censorship shit on reddit. Maybe that should tell me something. I think it might be time to make the switch for good. My concern is this: what's to stop voat admins from doing the same thing reddit admins are doing now, even if in the future? Is this the final refuge? Are there other places like this that can serve as a backup or plan B (like this was for reddit)?

Nope you will not be banned for that but you could be reported to the FBI for your comment (because your comments is technically criminal speech if you meet the means, motive, and take an overt action in furtherance of your threat.), so there is that.

It is important to actually know the law when it comes to speech. Direct threats can run afoul of the law pretty quickly.
