So I am guessing a lot of us are here because of what's happening at /r/pizzagate. It's funny, every time I check out voat it's because of some weird censorship shit on reddit. Maybe that should tell me something. I think it might be time to make the switch for good. My concern is this: what's to stop voat admins from doing the same thing reddit admins are doing now, even if in the future? Is this the final refuge? Are there other places like this that can serve as a backup or plan B (like this was for reddit)?

The only subs to ever be banned on Voat were a handful of borderline-pedo subs for legal liability reasons. As for users, non-spammers literally never get banned.
