Always skeptical of MSM stories, I wanted to dig a little deeper into this doctor and his statement.

The first thing that caught my attention is that he works at Mt. Sinai hospital. Mt. Sinai has a lot of connections to the covid story, but first let's see what we can find about the doctor who gave the interview.

Searching online, I cant find any mentions of a 'Steve' or 'Steven' Kaspidis/Kasspidis (spelled both ways in the Guardian story and video).

I looked through all the 'Steve' and 'Steven' listings on Mt. Sinai's doctor search. There's nothing even close to Kaspidis.

Next I searched Mt. Sinai's directory for all doctors whose last name starts with 'Kas', and turned up one result that is quite similar to Kaspidis:

The profile has no picture. A search for Dimitrios Kassapidis leads to a US News & World Report bio but the picture looks nothing like the man interviewed in the video.

A search for Steve Kassapidis gives one result for a Sotirios Kassapidis who is listed as working at Mt. Sinai (even though his name did not come up in Mt. Sinai's official search).

Picture of 'Sotirios'

Picture of 'Steve' from the Guardian interview.

They look much more similar than Domitrios, but with the different age, different angle, can't see both ears, etc. it's hard to say 100% they are the same person.

Mt. Sinai does have a page/bio for Sotirios even though he didn't turn up on their internal search.

Upvoat for you. Good digging.

That Guardian video was quite short. There is a longer one here: https://youtu.be/hAOXl-4H5DE with another interview with "Doron Barkan"

His whole name is Doron Goldman Barkan. His Facebook account is here and he has some interesting friends, like Eliran Gafsou https://imgur.com/a/PbtHzAj Director of Zionist Activity in non-Jewish sector in Israel at World Zionist Organization.

2020-03-26 | '9/11 was nothing compared to this': New York doctor on coronavirus crisis – video | World news | The Guardian

That a "doctor" would compare a flu to 9/11 shows just how much this is bullshit fake news. I bet it's a doctor in Gender Studies.

9/11 didn't happen all over the world. You'd be better off comparing it to the 1918 influenza pandemic or the spread of communism since that was more widespread and killed WAY more people.
