Where are they? The video linked doesn't show any of that...

Yes it does. The camera man tells him not to curse in his lines.

Telling someone not to curse on television interview is hardly coaching lines... I have been involved in interviews and they run down ground rules and what to expect, and they certainly would correct you for cursing, that is not the same as coaching lines.

If they're doing multiple takes until it's right, then it's rehearsing and practicing. They do live interviews all the time without this sort of coaching. They edit out anything that offends later.

And btw the interviews I was involved with were all recorded to be inserted into a story. They did multiple takes and they cut it to shit to make it appear however they wanted. Even benign shit was manipulated in the editing. It was very FRUSTRATING, to have all the context removed, and just some lone soundbite used that went opposite of what we were actually saying.

Selective editing of footage, without notice, ought to be legally considered libel. If a newspaper article chopped up quotes to the extent that CNN chops up footage, they would be sued into bankruptcy. There should be, at least, fine print on the bottom of the screen indicating that the footage has been edited, or that some segments may have been removed. No other industry is allowed to lie to it's consumers. Not newspapers, not food distributors, and not drug companies. Why are we not holding cable news to the same standards!?

There are live interviews, and there are interviews that they are going to insert into a story, and are not live. Again, where are these videos that were promised of the multiple coaching lines etc? I will happily concede, but all I see here is the normal practice of stopping because of profanity. Now show me one where they tell him, "with a little more feeling!" or "Do you think you can cry a little?" I will be very happy. But this here is bullshit.

They would never allow something so blatant to be said near a camera...
