You guys have better ideas anyways, so how should we do this? What should the process be?
Every system that utilizes individuals in power sooner or later gets infiltrated by corrupt entities and fail. Even the most benevolent individual can be corrupted (Reagan after he got shot), or eliminated (JFK). Random selected secret jurys (like grand jurys) is the only entity that cannot be infiltrated.
I suggest that all suspected infringements against Voat rules should be ruled by a randomly selected jury of voat members.
Suggestions:
- The jury needs access to information about the infringement they should vote on.
- Any voat member that fulfill a minimum criteria can be a jury member (ie 100 CCP).
- The accused has the right to appeal.
- When the ruling is final, all information about the ruling should be made public (information about the infringement, how the jury members voted).

I like it.
Though, just as in real life, I'll do everything I can to avoid jury duty. I'm too sick.. too biased for/against the accused.. etc..
I have no place judging others when me myself ain't so perfect. Doesnt sit well with me.

Jury duty should be voluntary.
