Honestly, I never cared if I was able to downvote or not. Granted, enough people thought highly enough of what I've had to offer that they've collectively given me the right to do so but I might have used it three times since I've had it in two months. If the downvoting went away, I wouldn't be bothered to reach into my pocket for a shit to give but the fact that you'd listened to your users is bigger than that and I'd rather it be that way for better or worse. Just wish there were a system for actual justification to downvotes rather than just allowing the downvote to happen. If someone feels so strongly against someone else's contribution (a purely subjective thing) they should be confident enough to intelligently defend that stance. Just my opinion.
