Buckle up. Voat is currently being hit with a malicious attack. This couldn't have possibly happened at a worse time for me personally and I may have to put Voat into lockdown mode or even set it to Read Only. Perhaps we will resurrect the
bit privilege checking goat (you know you miss having your bits privilege checked).

I'm hoping that the code is in a good enough place to handle a majority of the incoming traffic, but expect slow responses.

I will try my best to keep Voat online. Wish me luck.

Edit:

I'm still waiting for the main attack. Every DDOS we've been hit with before follows a pattern of probing exploits, quiet time, then the full attack. So we will see, but waiting is the hardest part

As of now I feel they've postponed. After taking us down two times the morning of this announcement, I've seen no further activity. A temporary win I suppose.

I've never heard of Paysor. Web searches indicate little besides the fact it is a known family name. Anything else you care to add, or is it just a farce? 5 upvotes and no further comment, I'm curious.

It doesn't mean we're right in our comradery. Even though we haven't read it ourselves, we could be missing some key components in how we are being manipulated. Many here already know the big names (Soros, Rockerfeller, etc.), but this is a first for me to come across the name of "Payseur". It may paint a clearer picture to help expose the going-ons of the world, but it's hard with the internet nowadays. It could be ramblings of a mad man making connections that seem legitimate, or it may be a person that's willing to risk everything to even make the book public. I don't know anything of the author or the Payseurs, but to make a book about that family bloodline...

All I know is that we can't just make assumptions that we're okay in not knowing what is being talked about here. I hope that the information can be more simplified, but it does take understanding of the situation to explain it simply. Who knows how complex the connections are...

I'll give it a quick read-through, if anything, when I have the chance.

PP #!: Yes, seems the onion has MORE layers,...argh. Saw on UTOOB about their murky history of infiltrating at highest level-(courts of kings back then), intermarrying & deposing the original "royal" lines. something to that tune. But how effing deep does this go, i wonder, ...something about this (or these) families going back to Babylon or some such. hmmm, for later research,...gotta get the word out in the public square before the 6th!
