We are aware of the issue and we will re-enable registrations in the next few hours. Sorry about the inconvenience, but we can always blame it on the alpha, right? Right?
Edit: registrations should now be working again.

Tried and I was able to create a subverse, but I cannot post to it. It says "Sorry, The subverse you are trying to post to does not exist."
