We are aware of the issue and we will re-enable registrations in the next few hours. Sorry about the inconvenience, but we can always blame it on the alpha, right? Right?
Edit: registrations should now be working again.

PSA! When you create a sub, make sure to edit the sidebar and/or post a submission. If you simply create a subverse to register it, it'll be deleted in about 24hrs.
