Bandwidth is practically free. The costs have to do with the other 3rd parties. They still aren't that much. But if he was fair to himself he would need to take in 6 figures to keep this running smoove. The issue isn't money. Its whatever contract and whatever he wants to do with his life.

8k a month for what? The only images served are thumbnails and those are cached by cloudflare. Unless it runs like an absolute turd the site should only cost a few hundred per month at most to run.
