Voat is in lockdown mode. No thumbnails, registrations disabled, login required to view any page, etc. DDOS's are why we can't have nice things. I've blocked nearly all "shit hole" countries (Trump term, not mine). Sorry if you are stuck in one (but you won't see this anyways).

What's funny about this DDOS is they simply don't get it. Most DDOS's are damaging to a company financially. Well they already black-listed Voat industry wide so we can't make money using their toys. Goats are goats because we see the Truth, so goats will never change or abandon a place where Truth is spoken. All these DDOS attacks do is annoy us, it doesn't hurt us. You can't hurt us, we are goats, angry goatsPNG.

DDOS seems to have stopped over the weekend (but they will be back). I'm leaving this post stickied for now.

We are aware of a bug when you click on "front" or navigate to https://voat.co, https://voat.co/new, etc. While annoying, if you refresh (click the goat) it should go away. Fix coming soon. This should be fixed now.

Edit 3:

Spent most of the day doing maintenance tasks that needed to be done anyways, so what a great time to do it! Also wrote some code that will handle floods a bit better, so we will see how it goes.

On a side note: I am interviewing candidates for my position. It doesn't pay well but you are always needed. ;) (THIS IS A JOKE GOATS, SEE THE ";)"? The joke is that no one would want my position, get it?)

Also of note: This version of the website has a work in progress Markdown library in it. It has some bugs to be worked out yet so apologies on the spacing issues. If you add more than three line breaks Voat will insert a large paragraph spacing element. Just preview your content until we get this sorted out. This should be addressed.

I know I'm lighthearted about this but they did take down Voat earlier. What I know about DDOS attacks is they will change it up. So buckle up buckaroos.
