ever since the industrial revolution guns have been made in factories by skilled workers using big machines
you may think theres no way you could build one yourself
oh sure if someone had a lot of tools and skill maybe but not you right
well
maybe you can
this is an ak parts kit
an 80 percent ar lower
an unfinished glock frame
a spool of plastic
pipes from the hardware store
today were going to talk about how to turn each of these into a gun without buying any actual gun
at least one of these options is something you could do yourself and have your very own pew pew
think of the pride of ownership
lets get started
so it used to be that the military would sell their extra guns after a war and you could just buy them
but then those guns started being capable of automatic fire and the federal government is too afraid of you when you have an automatic weapon
little do they know semi auto is just as good for like 95 percent of everything lol
so what the importers do is cut the receiver and import the rest of the parts
this happened and continues to happen with many many guns
the ak might be most common so well use that as an example
so youll find a parts kit and itll probably have everything except a receiver and magazine
and barrels might come with it or be sold separately
you could buy a new receiver
they can be excellent and i have done this
but that counts as a firearm so you have to go through a gun store
another option is either bending a flat or drilling out the fire control group holes
these pieces of metal dont count as firearms
and you can find videos online of how to bend them with square pipe and bolts
after bending a flat youll need to weld the internal rails on and probably heat treat with blowtorch and oven
and you can blue it or parkerize it to finish it
basically you get some chmicals and boil the receiver in them for a while
or just paint it
then you rivet the pieces back onto the gun
and use a hydraulic press to press on any other bits
rebuilding an ak is probably the most labor intensive way to go aside from building literally everything
altho in the end you have a friggin ak sooo
but maybe youre sharing an apartment and dont have space for a welder and hydraulic press because your roommate put a goofy swing bench on the tiny patio
i got you covered
with just a drill a router and a jig you can turn this into this
and with some battery acid and charger you can turn it into this
in the same way you can buy an ak parts kit thats just parts you can buy almost every single part of an ar and mail it to your home
and if you get an 80 percent receiver that can go to your home too
all you do is secure it in a jig and do some routing and drilling
the process is very straightforward and the instructions are excellent
anodize if you want
assemble it and youre done
i hear a guy is going to livestream this shit and show you exactly how its done
a similar thing can be done with pistol frames
look heres a 1911
and heres a glock
in fact when we talk about plastics we enter a magical new world
but first let me address that loud voice in the back
yes i hear you
youre shouting clammy i love you i want your autograph and your babies but i live in europe and cant buy pressure bearing parts like barrels because euro
first off im flattered
second off ew
but i still have answers
there was once a man named phillip luty
rhymes with shooty
he lived in england and made a living off of doing finger workouts every day so he could flip off the queen harder than anyone
when he was done he published a book called expedient homemade firearms
it gives detailed instructions on how to build an automatic submachinegun using random hardware from the store
and his guns worked
in fact they worked so well they arrested him
he died of cancer before his case was finished but his book lives on
to build a luty requires drilling and welding and cutting with some power tools
and constructing a magazine is very fiddly and tricky
but it can be done
but very recently there is a new advancement that makes is easier than ever
have you heard about 3d printing
this is the fgc-9 by deterrence dispensed
it uses a 3d printed receiver
3d printed magazines
and a pipe for a barrel
and the 3d model has a jig to rifle the pupe so you can actually hit things
the 3d printer to make it doesnt even have to be fancy at all
the one they recommend costs 200 bucks
you also need to do some welding drilling and cutting but not nearly as extensively as on the luty and the required precision is low
crude welding is all you need
no previous experience required
ill let you know after i build it
plans available for free here as a 4 gig zip
and lets take a moment to talk about ammunition
there are four parts to a cartridge
the brass case
bullet that flies out
powder that pushes it
and primer that lights the powder when hit
there are machines to pop out primers
gently push a new one in
measure and fill powder
and squish a new bullet it
thats all it is
if you have a primer and powder you can make it happen
you can do it with shotgun shells too
poachers in africa use matchheads to make powder
this is explosives were talking about so dont just blow your fingers off fooling around
but its not rocket science either
and guys there you have it
whether rifle or pistol
american or australian
you can have a gun
you can carry it around with you
no matter if you thought you couldnt
you can
pew pew

Ammo Is The Choke Point and expect that to be exploited further (see CA and ammo background check upheld).
The DIY gun community has begun to look at surrogate ammo and will likely come up with solutions; eventually.
There was even one for blackpowder, .314 Atlas and look at the immediate media shit fit -
https://www.wired.com/2014/11/atlas-314-3-d-printed-guns-bullets/
In the interim though -
Pick your caliber(s) and stock it as deep as you can, make sure .22LR is one of them (easy to fabricate quick DIY gun for). Consider reloading so you can replenish your centerfire supply (you need to add primers, powder & shot). Cases for low pressure loads like .38SPL can be reloaded up to 10X w/o annealling and if you anneal them, many more times. So if you have 100 cases reloaded 10 or more times -
1 lb. powder = 1,200-1500 rounds .38SPL (easy to store)
1200-1500 primers (easy to store)
1200-1500 projectiles (heavy but easy to store)
(.38SPL revolver keeps the cases inside gun until you eject them, easy to retain them after firing.)
All of the above fits it a 10" x 6" x 4" box!
Oh, and those .22LR? They can be reloaded too -

Interesting times kids, let's keep that DIY gun horse out of the barn.

ammo ban was struck down and the 9th circuit granted the states emergency stay request
they havent upheld it yet and it hasnt fine to supreme court

So in essence, still in effect.
CA is the prototype for the rest of the country regarding guns.

still in effect and upheld are very different
upheld means its over
in reality this is the beginning of the fight
each side only made one move so far
looking at california there is much to feel hopeful over
aks and ars used to be utterly banned but that was overturned
their assault weapons ban keeps getting circumvented to the point they have to keep adding specific definitions
a number of countries are shall issue
and the entire state is a castle doctrine state
dont be fooled by anti gun blackpill artists
watch as the magazine and ammo bans both fall
