So, I've been using this site for a while. I used to be a cringe lolbert, but I've learned a lot. Don't necessarily agree with everything, but my eyes were definitely opened over the past 5.5 years. My theory is that most popular sites targeted to men aged 18-45, like this site, are heavily monitored, data collected, and infiltrated by feds. However, I think that this site in particular was used by the feds to try to create terrorists. I think the reason why this site is getting shut down is because they underestimated us. They thought we could be easily controlled and created into violent terrorists, but it didn't work. There is no use for them to allow the truth spread without any upside for them, such as the ability to mass arrest users for terrorism and contributing to terrorism. I say this because I've seen countless times, and with increasing frequency, OBVIOUS fedposts that almost always get met with the appropriate response by calling them out.

Why would they give two fucks about creating terrorists? If they want a terrorist they can just dress a fed up as one of us and have them go do a terror or find a mentally ill kid to do it. Also, we need to do a terror or we are going to die.

That's exactly what they were trying to do. There are radical mentally ill people on every website that can be created into terrorists, but they just happen to be white positive on this site. It would be the perfect sort of story for the media.
