Two of the things pushed through against the American people after 9/11 was the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security. As you can see, at least a few of the people below were instrumental in both writing the Patriot Act and setting up the DHS. And in the case of Ehud Barak, possibly in pulling off 9/11.
