If a reasonable person under attack believes that he is in danger of death or grave bodily harm, then the use of lethal force for self defense is justified.

Not if that person knowingly puts themselves in a dangerous situation. Not if that person traveled across state lines with intent to be deputized with a group of armed people. Doesn't look like self defense at all, it looks like this outcome was the intent all along.

He lived 20 miles away. You make it seem like he drove halfway across the state.

He tried to turn himself in to the police, ON VIDEO. They refused to arrest him, he went home and got a good night's sleep. As he should have.

I've heard that he tried to turn himself in, but haven't seen any confirmation. Do you have any?

It's part of a second video that happens immediately after shooting the guy with the handgun and the other guy that tried to mob him, he gets up runs away towards the police who are positioned down the road. Puts his hands up, and approaches their line. Video ends there.

Can only find leftists reposting the original as the original seems to have been taken down.

I just found this:

"Police let him go and even thanked him, but after the news was spread out, authorities decided to apply the charges."

Thanks. It would be interesting to find out why they wouldn't apprehend him. My impression so far is that the mayor (and governor) is cucked, but the police don't seem to be from the few snippets of comments I've seen.
