It was the early-mid 1900s that started taking options away from us and forcing control via prescriptions. 'Just another example of everybody giving up freedom for "safety" because a few are too stupid to make good choices.

Doesn’t it usually go the other way around? Prescription > OTC. I’ve never heard it reversed until now.
