Yes, Sherman was really popular in 1969-70. That's when my friend and I used to argue about him and Cassidy. The teen magazines were filled with pics of both along with Susan Dey from The Partridge Family. We both used to spend the money we earned from babysitting to buy those stupid magazines. What a waste. lol
No, I was raised by parents who was, and music in my home was typically; David Cassidy, Barry Manilove both my mothers favorite and my dad listened to David Bowie, Queen and Electric light Orchestre! And together they had a thing for Phil Collins, Olivia Newton John and Earth, wind and fire! hahaha that were the days......

I remember those days (I wanted to be David Cassidy and even got a shag cut in '72).
I think Sherman was big in late sixties (Cassidy replaced him), and then Donny replaced David.
I read his book (he was a bit proud of himself).
My brother waited on Sean at a gas station.

Had a big crush on Olivia. The ELO guy is still touring. Cassidy died recently.
