Personally, I would have gone with a mid century modern (steel, glass, concrete) tower as the main house to start with (wrap around balconies, rooftop swimming pool. I would also have put in a compact industrial complex (far away from main house and largely hidden) with concrete plant, machine shop, wood working shop, mechanical/paint shop (garage for equipment repair), electronics repair shop and large underground utility storage (materials produced, imported, groceries and supplies). I would have heavy equipment on site for land forming. I would probably hire (US?) management staff (I WOULD LOVE such a job) to run the industry side. I would leverage all of that potential to turn the island into a paradise. Probably put in a deep water harbor, and own a "tramp" freighter to ship in my US bought materials and goods. Probably have a boat house to store my boats, a fishing pier(s). motion detection security all around w video/audio. Probably a security installation (not sure). Helipad of course.
Main house would have basis (60's level) hospital facilities, otherwise a luxury mansion equipped clone. with AWESOME air conditioning system. Satellite multi media system (TV, internet, radio, phone etc).
My equipment would ALL be heavy duty (military grade if possible). Reliability being the watch word. Everything designed to be fire, flood, hurricane, intruder resistent/proof. auto hidden gun/gas turrets would be cool. Once activated, NOTHING outside of the main house or designated sanctuary areas would survive 10 minutes.
Of course I would just live there, not rape people there. Probably wouldn't have anyone other than carefully screened ESSENTIAL personnel, that probably lived elsewhere when not working.

Are you talking about at the end of the video? That looks like a make shift boat slip. You can see where they dug out the center to make extra depth for the boat keel. And then those other flat rocks were set into the ground to make a side walk to the side of the boat to make getting on and off of the boat easier.
It looks like it hasn't been used in a long time. And it was probably for a small fishing boat.
