I was in Publix and turned an aisle and there was a dude who was about five foot tall and 300lbs of lard with an AR-15 on his back which his fat ass would never be able to get to his front easily, and a big ass revolver on his hip. He was dressed in jeans and a stone cold shirt. Dude was buying chips and there were a handful of store employees telling him they called 911 and he was arguing it's an open carry state - which it is.

But this is why you CC.

Great practical guide.

It was linked inside this awesome prepper's guide for beginners:

Cheap and easy ways to prepare for long periods of martial law or civil war without power or water.

I can't recommend both guides highly enough!

Recent events have prompted me to not only carry at all times but to increase my EDC firepower.

I have to wonder how many lives the fireman saved at WM. (without firing a shot)

The problem is that the potential threat, may have been one of those idiots demonstrating their right to bear arms,

as he hasn't yet been reported as having stalked anyone. Still mentally unstable if you ask me.

Well, in the current environment exercising your right to open carry is not the smartest thing to do even where protected by law.

Blatantly equipping yourself to appear to be the next mass shooter is beyond stupidity and does enter the realm of mentally ill.

Agreed

I think the dude was trying to make a statement, but it's going to turn out that he's going to be made an example of.

Perhaps. But the bottom line is, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Someone else might have dropped him. Wrong time to be open carrying a black rifle in a retail establishment.
