Interesting things in Washington

I work in the House for a Republican member and typically everyone gets along in the house on a staff level no matter what side you're on. We all eat together, hang out after work, play nice and do our work because most of us are just young staffers getting experience. But, since Tuesday it has been VERY different. We were told in whispers to stay around the office and not socialize as much for the next week by an older staffer from the Senate. And it's not just my team, it's everybody. I popped into the cafeteria to get food and the place was all tourists.

I don't know if there is any connection or people know something is coming that will be decisive. We all know about Q, but never openly discuss them because it's labeled kooky or whatever and we have to be "official."

Last night I went to the normal hangout place we go to and it was dead, last Thursday it was standing room only. Something is definitely coming down the pipeline that has people freaked out.

Op thank you for your observations. Every set of eyes in dc is a small window into the behind the scenes machinations that most of us arent privy to. This post sent chills up my spine. Then I read the comments calling you a LARP. However, I believe you. I understand not talking about Q. It makes perfect sense, knowing what I know. I honestly don't know much, I'm a health aid to a republican house member that doesn't really have any pull, just reporting what I see and hear. Most staffers have a specialty, health care reform is mine so I sit in all of those meetings then report back.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I asked around and this hasn't happened in a long time, not sure when before. I think something big is about to drop and they don't want info leaking anywhere or rumors starting - that's my guess.
