Most of you are discerning enough to see past the spam and realize that @Puttitout is telling us to unmask our users and heavily moderate the subverse while citing complaints from the spammers brigading our community. Consider that our subverse is marked as NSFW and has anonymous turned on which prevents our content from hitting v/all. We have secluded ourselves in a dark corner of the site and followed all the rules set forth by Voat admins. With that in mind we are announcing QRP as the official backup to v/QRV. See you there.

Edit: Apparently it does show in v/all, deal with it

what does this mean in deplorable layman terms?

If we get banned from Voat and you want a reddit style replacement go to s/QRP on Poal. If you don't care about a reddit style replacement go to 8ch.

Stop sabotaging our community and actively trying to herd people off the Q endorsed Voat subverse.

We always have fallback positions. This is how we always roll. Cool your jets. We all know we will wait for Q to confirm before jumping fully. Q has bigger fish to fry than a power play against us that failed to hit its mark.

No, this is community splitting that's being purposely done right before the declas and IG report are released. Don't all for it!!!

The division attempts came from outside not from the mods. The mods are simply learning from it and preparing for any outcome.

A: The current mods are so fucking out of touch, that they didn't even fucking understand the basic mechanics of Voat (thinking that v/QRV doesn't show up on v/all).
B: The current mods are so fucking out of touch, they don't realize that directing people to poal is a move which serves the interests of the worst shills on Voat, v/realProtectVoat; If you think the degenerate braindead trolls from SBBH are bad, wait until you realize just how much and how subtly the v/realProtectVoat pieces of shit are playing you (mods and users alike).
C: The current mods are so arrogant and out of touch that they didn't do any homework about Voat and instead lashed out at @PuttItOut, thereby feeding directly into the agenda of both trolls and shills alike.
In conclusion, if the current mods do not have malicious intent (and that's at best a 50/50 at this stage), they are at best incompetent egotistic fools who need to wake the fuck up and get a fucking clue.

Nice way to break things down here, anon.
I'm a newfag. What's the difference between PV and RPV? I just found out about RPV today.
PV seem sketchy to me, too, though. Lots of powermods sitting on crossover subs and it doesn't look right to me.

Let's put it this way:
rPV have been trying to push a "Voat is compromised" narrative since their inception as a subverse and for a long time prior to that too. The narrative has relied on various talking points over the years (I shit you not, dig around and you'll find the history) not least of all "because SBBH and ProtectVoat!".
Now, SBBH do themselves no favors in this never ending tussle, but really the rPV crew will latch on to anything if they think it will push people away from Voat. PV has been exploited before, but for the most part, they are consistent in their mission to ensure that moderator overreach is addressed.
rPV on the other hand, does nothing whatsoever and only stokes conflict. The subverse name is an ironic one, in that they do not have Voat's best interest in mind. One look reveals that they are largely behind to attacks on QRV and GA, using "because SBBH" as an attack vector - this is distinct from the trolling from certain people associated with SBBH.
The most unfortunate part here, is that SBBH has rPV-affiliated users who have inserted themselves under the guise of trolling. Many SBBH users cannot see this because for them, trolling and shitposting is life, so they mostly don't care.
So basically, rPV plays all sides both overtly and subtly, because they have an underlying goal of attacking Voat on the whole and quite particularly, the Q-related subverses. Again distinguishing attacks from annoying trolling, while noting that even the trolling has crossed a line of late.
There's a lot of history to wade through, but ultimately, remember the name Amalek if you decide to go digging and everything will become quite clear.
