The fact is that many "boomers" were blessed with a proper education, held many different jobs, probably ran their own business and, now retired, have more time to do research than working millenials. And, in the UK, the brexit vote was dominated by "boomers" who understand the threat posed by the unelected bureaucrats of the EU.
