Denver International Airport

While searching for information about Denver International Airport, the search took an unexpected direction. In deciding to look into the names listed on the time capsule stone and not finding anything that really stood out, a search was commenced on who was involved in building the airport. Specifically, searching on “what companies build major airports” led to a primary company involved in many major airport constructions around the world: Bechtel.

Research into Bechtel has been enlightening, to say the least, and possibly why DIA was pointed out by Q among other reasons. The connections of this company run deep with a global reach.
In regards to links, each mention of the same word provides a different link. There is a lot to unpack here - apologies for length.

Riley P. Bechtel

Riley P. Bechtel was the Chief operating officer of Bechtel Group, as of March 1989 and became the president and chief executive officer in June 1990. Remember: Denver International Airport started construction in 1989.

Riley P. Bechtel has ties to Stanford University, The Trilateral Commission (Link 1), J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and more. He's tied to the Bush Administration by George W. Bush appointing him to the President’s Export Council. Through the Trilateral Commission (Link 2) there is a link to Zibgniew Brzezinski, who was BHO's campaign foreign policy advisor.

It’s also speculated that he is part of the Bohemian Club which is tied to the Bohemian Grove but no conclusive source could be found.

Bechtel is the largest construction company in the U.S. and the 8th largest privately-owned American company as of 2017 all the while being notorious for running over budget on its projects. It was originally headquartered in San Francisco with the global headquarters in Reston, Virginia. Major domestic areas of operation: Reston, Virginia, San Francisco, Houston, Washington D.C.

It also has its own political Political Action Committee and has contributed to several Democrats & Republicans in Congress.

Domestically, it has been tied to an expansive number of U.S. infrastructure projects in the areas of transportation, power and telecommunications – road, bridges, dams (Hoover dam), subways, rail, and airports - even NASA’s Space Launch Complex 40. It’s also tied into areas of energy, national security, and even environment: mines, pipelines, oil, natural gas, nuclear power (involved in 80% of U.S. nuclear power plants), solar, and even Google Fiber.

Bechtel leads or is a member of a consortium that manages two national laboratories and a number of national security-related facilities in the U.S., including:

Bechtel also has ties to Alwaleed bin Talal – Bechtel built Alwaleed’s Kingdom Tower in the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which was finished in 2002.

More recently, Bechtel has been working on 39 miles of tunnels 14 stories below ground under Riyadh for a metro system that was supposed to be completed last October. They have numerous underground tunneling projects that they have worked on in the past. Maybe even DIA?

Sally Denton, an investigative reporter and the author of the book, The Profiteers: Bechtel and the Men Who Built the World, had this to say...

“The company so mirrored the CIA by participating in intelligence gathering and providing cover to CIA agents that it was widely considered a government surrogate, if not a full-fledged government enterprise by both the political leaders of the countries in which it operated, as well as by its rivals in industry…It was often difficult to determine if Bechtel Corporation was doing favors for the US government, or if it was the other way around.”
