Very interesting post, OP. Thanks. It would have been truly outstanding if you linked to sources for all of the various elements, so researchers could weigh the truth of it for themselves.

At Tavistock Consulting we apply a ‘systems-psychodynamic’ theory of change to our work with organisations.

During TIHR70, festival dreamers were invited to take part in our daily inquiry to explore what collective meanings we can find from sharing our overnight dreams and what they might tell us about our current shared experiences and understandings.

Effective programs of mass persuasion must 1) change the cognitive structures of individuals; 2) change the motivational structures of individuals; and 3) activate new forms of behavior.

Several of the children who Cameron experimented on were sexually abused, in at least one case by several men. One of the children was filmed numerous times performing sexual acts with high-ranking federal government officials, in a scheme set up by Cameron and other MKULTRA researchers, to blackmail the officials to ensure further funding for the experiments.[136]

In the early 1950s and beyond, Max Fink was a fully cleared CIA Project Artichoke consultant. Project Artichoke was headed by former Naval intelligence officer Morse Allen and in 1951 and 1952 especially, Allen worked closely with Fink in New York City in efforts to thoroughly explore the merits of electroshock techniques for interrogations.* The CIA was especially interested in the use of electroshock machines in producing amnesia, inducing subjects to talk and making subjects more prone to hypnotic control.

1964–1970s: MK-SEARCH experiments were conducted on “expendables”

Allen also wrote that Bannerman was concerned that the military hospital at Fort Clayton may not approve of or permit an Artichoke operation to be conducted on the ward within which Dimitrov was being held, thus necessitating the movement of Dimitrov to another location in Panama. Lastly, Bannerman stated to the official and Allen that “[the CIA’s Office of] Security [through its Artichoke Committee] would have to be cognizant” of the operation, and may even want to “run the operation themselves since this type of work is one which Security handles for the Agency. Here it is interesting to note that among the many members of the agency’s Artichoke Committee in 1952 was Dr. Frank Olson, who would about a year later be murdered in New York City.

There are several quarries in Egypt, but the preferred granite source came from the Aswan area. One of the earliest known directors of the Aswan quarry was employed by Ramses III, named Hori around 1170 BC (1). Much of the red, grey, and black granite used in the pyramids and Valley Temple on the Giza plateau was taken from here, and was utilized long before Ramses III. The stone from this quarry was transformed into the casing stones of Khafre and Menkaure’s pyramids, the 70 ton lintels above the Kings Chamber, and numerous sarcophagi, columns, and megalithic blocks on the plateau and beyond. The casing stones on Menkaure’s pyramid have caused some controversy. Robert Temple and his colleagues concluded, by using a technique called optical thermoluminescence , that the casing stones were dated between 3590 – 2640 BC, much earlier than Menkaure, and possibly confirming that the pyramids were built several hundred years before King Menes, the first Pharaoh, circa 3100 BC (2). This also dates the quarry at Aswan much earlier than previously thought, as that’s where the stone came from.

Eratosthenes calculated the Earth's circumference without leaving Egypt. He knew that at local noon on the summer solstice in Syene (modern Aswan, Egypt), the Sun was directly overhead. ... Using the length of the rod, and the length of the shadow, as the legs of a triangle, he calculated the angle of the sun's rays.

The obelisk that originally embellished Caligula’s circus was moved in front of the façade of the Basilica of Saint Peter (which was under construction at the time) by Pope Sixtus V in 1586, to celebrate the triumph of the Church over paganism and heresy.
