I've never been to Israel, so I have no clue what their political views are there. But I can speak to the regional influence and upbringing factors in local culture as playing a bigger role than you may think. I grew up in Texas in super majority Jewish neighborhoods with most of my friends and stepparent being Jewish. Every Jewish person (and their parents) that I knew growing up in Texas were all conservatives who voted Red. Imagine my surprise when later in my teens, I moved to California (again in almost exclusively Jewish neighborhoods) and EVERYONE (all my Jewish friends AND their parents) - with maybe one exception - was a SUPER liberal.

Growing up in Texas, I equated people who were Jewish to automatically assuming they'd be conservative, so it shocked the heck out of me to be surrounded by Jewish people in CA who were ANTI-conservative. Thankfully, we had lots of other topics to talk about so it didn't put a monkey wrench into our friendships (until we got older and now it's completely hopeless with their obsessive Trump-bashing TDS).

Just food for thought on the subject.
