Hello new goats & old - I am writing this as I know that the site owner is too proud to ebeg, well I am not.
Voat's BTC account 3NZvuAk3Csf1UP1KCmzN9dhiXTwvhTgr9k is empty totally empty not a cent in there.
You probably think that this website is kept alive with advertising, but I am afraid we have been cut off from all payment processors. As a result the store has been shut as it cannot accept cards & the advertisements on the side bar have remain unchanged for several years and are largely there for comedic value at this point.
As you can imagine hosting a website with tens of thousands of active users is costly, we managed to reduce the overheads earlier this year when some dedicated goats with more skill than I rewrote the code and moved the site to better hosting, but the costs are still there and we cannot allow the site owner to take the brunt of this.
The cabal have been after Voat for a very long time, many times we have barely hung on by a thread & now we need your help. Please help keep your new home alive as it wont survive without all of our assistance.

@puttitout, Can you [or have you] made accounts and wallets for 10 or so of the most popular cryptocurrencies and make a new donation page that is just links to those addresses?
If you don't want to be bothered with that, you can do the same thing with addresses from a cryptocurrency exchange site when you can have addresses for a plethora of alt coins all auto converted to BTC.
I'm sure you know how to do all of this, but if you don't have the time i'd be happy to help out. Hit me up.
