This group will just start over again. They encourage dessent between community within voat to break apart people and make others frustrated. As soon as another sub on reddit is banned you will see more and more of them.

Rinse and repeat.

Doesn’t matter really because so few take this site seriously anymore. You get one hour old accounts inciting violence, and something vulgar about someone within every comment thread now.

I actually do. Unfortunately the site became very clicky when that /pedes bullshit happened, and I admit I even became a little Abrasive to newer members.

Big part of why these days I lurk much more than I ever did before.

These bans however are just the precursor to the community policing itself more and more much like reddit.

That assholes (beatle) talking about sodomization of children with a bicycle seat post, and women for that matter is just vulgar. I did report that piece of shit to ice3 again because some people need to be reminded there is consequences to action.

Anyone can shitpost for whatever and have fun with it, but for fucks sake have some restraint because you know they don’t act like that in person.

I don’t know that putts had any other choice but to get out the banhammer, if only to display that admin chose to take action to shield Voat Inc. from a potential civil liability suit.

Frankly, and maybe this did happen I don’t know, all of the banned users with accounts used for other than exclusively dox/harassment should have been warned and given the opportunity to discontinue their behavior without a ban.

Maybe making GA a system sub would solve it all? I think it would. I was against it at first but now it totally makes sense! Besides, QRV is the ONLY official Q sub here.

I have been thinking about that proposal and I am not so sure it would.

Making v/GreatAwakening a system sub may solve the inaction of it's user base to act and apply downvotes where it's due. Meaning that it's user base would be forced to be more proactive and to inform itself on how to deal with shills and trolls effectively. But the sub would still need to have a janitor/moderator that would need to curate the content. And given the size of that sub it would need several to do what the moderator team is supposed to do.

From all this experience this is my opinion on the following that might solve the voids and insatisfactions created by the current state of affairs:

u/Crensch should not be the owner of the sub. He should step down and give that title to u/srayz
u/srayz was a good moderator/owner and content curator. Despite her lack of judgement on her support for the group that was attacking her detractors that doesn't change the fact she was a good one. Even if many don't like her for her constant denunciations and emotional responses, her work cannot be undone. The v/GreatAwakening user base is grateful with her and quite appreciative.
Some of the current set of rules should be modified to make clear, objective and effective rules. This includes creating an specific one for doxxing that goes along with the site's one but that it is more specific. i.e. If the owner of the information gives/removes permission of sharing it or if the owner of the information made the link him/herself, then those should be considered acceptable exceptions.
Guilty by association rules should be removed.
Unjustifiable bans should be reversed as @Puttitout has made precedent that it is possible. Mine for example was unjustified and several others should be removed.
Comments should only be deleted if they are illegal or go against the site's global rules (which includes doxxing of Voat's user base)
Despite of the fact that I find it to be a questionable character, u/Molochhunter has proved to be somewhat fair in his moderation. My questions regard on his defense for an unjust ban on u/trigglyppuff. But his activity as a moderator is consistent so he should also stay in the moderator team in v/GreatAwakening.
u/shizie should also stay despite of the fact that she fell under the same bus that the previous users did. Her commitment with v/GreatAwakening is not in question to my eyes. Though she called me a cuck with her alt u/hollacost, I hold no grudge against her. She sould also stay in the moderator team.

- It is clear that one of the tasks of being a moderator, specially in the case of the v/GreatAwakening sub, is to continuously inform and educate their user base so the subscribers of their sub become more proactive and do not rely only on the moderators to act (downvote disingenuous users' posts and comments, upvote genuine users' posts and comments, block users that are annoying to their eyes, report suspicious behaviors - not through posts on their sub but archiving and then making an informative post on v/ProtectVoat about said users that they can link in their comments to others to inform them). After all I recognize the risk that carries being a moderator of such a polemic subverse. And the safety of the moderators can only be better insured if their user base helps them protect them.

In the end if our admin decides to make the sub a system sub, then they should remain janitors of the sub. But that decision also resides on the v/GreatAwakening user base. The admin team should consider their say on the matter.

But that is my opinion and I am sure many will disagree.

The fact that you justified their actions showed your support to them and these users were supporters of u/Crensch and supported by u/Crensch.

I didn't say you were helping on a doxx I said you supported these users when they acted against the people you disliked.

So again, I do not trust u/Crensch after he sold out his beliefs for convenience in order to wage his "war". And I am quite disappointed on the path he chose, whether he cares for that or not is besides the point. He hurt Voat's integrity and he is so prideful that he can't see it.
