Why? The subverse was created as a private research archive. It specifically says in the side bar that comments about the linked threads belong in the linked threads. I do not care what the person says in the research subverse, but if they post it in the research subverse when it was a comment of the linked submission then it's going to be removed. I see no reason why this isn't acceptable behavior, if someone is offended by this they can just block the subverse and move on I won't adjust my archive for the preferences of a bunch of children on the Internet - so why are you demanding I do so?

Nothing is stopping anyone from commenting in the thread itself, and that is the entire point of what I am doing in the first place for whoever is similarly curious in the threads I am linking and wishes to subscribe. If you are not the audience, block the sub. I cannot possibly see how these rules are anyone elses business and how this could offend you.

Help me see your point of view here because I don't see what rule I've broken, law I've broken, or any reason why I can't have a private sub to document things.
