Protecting children isn't about serving factional agendas, it's simply about decency. Sometimes problems manifest from human nature. One needn't be involved in satanic rituals, or even have a belief in the devil to act out their darker impulses. Do politicians and oligarchs abuse their power to indulge their most perverse urges? Some do, without a doubt; probably a lot of them get away with it.

I think you'll find perversion isn't limited only to factions you resent though. The evil is only allowed to dominate when people turn a blind eye to the problems in their own back yard. There are parents who abuse their children, there are teachers who do it, there are priests who do it. It wouldn't be near as bad if the victims were supported and the predators were stopped by those who pretend to care.

Calling victims liars because they were abused by the faction you want to support is abhorrent. Turning child abuse and sexual abuse into a partisan issue only causes more harm to all victims. Ahh the popular "New Family Structures" study, that has been described as complete bullshit. And in a court of law was described thusly:

This sounds like regular abusive parents to me not sure if this is because they are gay. My cousin and his sister have lesbian parents and they seem really happy are doing great in school and do all sorts of activities like hockey and camp are are always travelling all over the US with their parents whereas I grew up with straight parents and they broke up before I was five years old and subsequently both of them would end up getting nasty divorces with their next two partners. My childhood memories are dominated by them fighting with various spouses. My guess would be having parents get divorced would be way more traumatic than having gay parents. I blows my mind that anyone would be against gay parents specifically rather than abusive parents. In all honestly, the only people against letting gays have kids are dumb religious conservatives.

You have to be incredibly naive to think none of the priests have deviant tendencies, and that none of them take advantage of people's faith in them. Your attitude sickens me, this type of self delusion is what allows them to get away with it.

And none of that is emphatic proof of anything. You're really going to hang your hat on early onset depression as the key indicator of proper parentage. Really? There's nearly a 50/50 chance the person was molested, and a portion of them will be pedophiles depending on when their first sexual encounter happened. This is fucking horrifying to think that children are being raised by normalized pedophiles, thus creating the next huge wave of gay's and pedophiles at an ever increasing rate, directly correlating with the gay rights movement.

Being born gay is possible, but it surely isn't the majority of the people. I know of the medical research that applies to gender confusion and it is COMPLETELY a separate issue than rampant sexual abuse and over exposure sexual life at an early age.

This is an interesting topic that brings up a few points here. Typically speaking, the most vocal of any movement are the people who don't necessarily represent the movement as whole, but the most extreme views of it. Everyone takes the lack of a louder voice as silent consent whether that's fair or not.

In the gay community, the over sexualized nature of the group appears to be a normal thing. Whether or not that's true, I can't really say. My ex fiance had a lot of gay friends and they seemed like mostly normal people. I probably made more crass jokes than they ever did. However, there is definitely a concern to be had here as well. We can't discount the testimony these people give.

It makes me wonder, is the underlying issue just bad people in general? You can find a lot of kids not being raised correctly by straight people in broken homes. These kids that become adults are degenerates as well, but in a different way. I know some of you would rather have a litmus test for a lot of things, but who gets to decide what is the right way to test things, and whose to say that the government won't every do any over reaching?

This also raises the issue of government and religion. Marriage is most definitely a religious ceremony. The fact that we have laws based around this should bother you. I'm all for letting churches decide who they will and will not marry and abolishing any laws we have around the "institution of marriage". At the same time, I'm all for the government calling these things "civil unions" which confer the same rights. We get two things out of this - assholes not stepping on religious freedoms, and less government intervention in our lives.
