First off, I'd like to thank all of the support and uplifting comments I've received since my return the other day. It means a lot, and it is encouraging to see so many people who share in my hobby. It's a hell of a feeling, and I'm very grateful for it.
That being said, there are a couple of things I want to address:
1) I'll be slowly updating the CSS, sidebar, and subverse rules throughout the week. It's going to be coming in bits and pieces, but I'm hoping to have everything polished by the end of the year. Please be patient!
2) The reasons I left in the first place are still present, and if I'm to bring my content back every day, I'll have to deal with those reasons. I'm sure at least most of you reading this are familiar with that whole episode. Obviously, not all of you will enjoy this bit, but it's my condition. The rules will be updated (see first point), and then they will be enforced. For a long time I advocated a 'hands off' policy and let the community exercise its right to downvote content that didn't belong. For a long time that worked. Unfortunately, there came a time when it didn't, and the sub started to host content it was never meant to. I didn't want to deal with the backlash of actually having to enforce my own rules, especially since I remember quite well what happens when the brown-shirts in places like /v/ProtectVoat round up a posse and pick you out as a target, so I left.
The moral of the story is: the rules will now be enforced at the moderators' discretion. If you don't like this on principle, you don't have to stay. This isn't a default sub. This is a niche sub that was created for a niche crown of enthusiasts, and my mods and I have no obligation to cater to anyone and everyone who walks in the door. We will protect the content and keep things relevant. We tried to be nice, and (some of) you took it too far.
Also, if you simply don't like the concept of moderation, and this makes you angry, and in the next week you deliberately push the envelope in this sub, just to push our buttons, then you do not get to complain about it and be taken seriously. I'm not playing that game. It's a waste of my time and it has nothing to do with history, so bye Felicia.
3) I think a massive expression of gratitude is in order for those who took it upon themselves to keep the sub afloat, most notably @skyrock and @justintoxicated. I would also like to thank them. So thank you.
4) I'm glad to be back. I missed almost all of you. You guys are like family.

Nah, I just blocked this subverse. Don't see why I shouldn't call bullshit, though. Shit like this is why I left reddit.
If he's so concerned about "his" community, he should set a minimum ccp to downvoat so "his" subverse is removed from /v/all.

Just blocked the subverse too, I like @LockProposal 's content but I will not support the kind of censorship of people questioning of official narratives, pushed by the moderation team. Not to mention the whole "PV are all literally evil nazis because they disagreed with me on the internet"
Lock showed his true colors when he threw a tantrum and fucked off back to Reddit, and now he's bringing the censorship back here, I honestly used to like him but the way he handled this entire situation is just beyond disgraceful, yet people defend these actions because he posts cool stories, but for me that doesn't out way cancer moderation.
This his his subverse and he is free to drive it into the ground however he likes, doesn't mean I need to be around here to watch.
