I agree with you short of the spirits. It does come down to the IQ. The only Atheist states that have flourished are those with 95% or higher White/Cohesive societies. Even those are now crumbling due to "refugees". I always hated that everywhere you turned "GOD" was mentioned. How delusional I thought people and this country were. Then once GOD was removed; they started worshiping BLM, Hollywood, Pop Artists, etc. The DUMB need a religion, the need a GOD, they need rules that govern them in a more spiritual way.

I think the problem is that we were right that rationality is a good system... it's just that people completely suck at being rational and honest to themselves.

It's like if we insisted that flying everywhere with our wings would be better than walking. It definitely would. Except people don't have wings. And even if they did gravity is too strong for man-bird-people to go flapping around.

By the same token not enough people can be rational for it to matter. It just falls apart when you try to practice it in reality.

You have all these "I Fucking Love Science" types ignoring that the MAOA gene is what makes black people commit more crime. They ignore the offset bell curves of IQ that explain the achievement disparity. They ignore the fact that white people and east asians evolved with seasons and it impacted our cognitive abilities.

They ignore it because it all sounds mean, because they'd lose friends, etc, etc.

So because of emotion and social dynamics rationality just goes right out the fucking window. Only borderline autist assholes like us can dispense with all that and just accept ugly messy facts. And even we have to hide it in public.

So we had traditions and belief systems that weren't actually rational but they produced a stable working society and social order when followed. Oddly enough I think they evolved or went through natural selection. The religions that helped their society stuck around and the cults that were too dysfunctional fell by the wayside.

Now we still don't have rational beliefs AND our moral systems and traditions aren't even conducive to a working society.

I don't know what the answer is. Should we brain scan people and only let people who think like us vote? Should we admit the fundamentalist Christians were right and the enlightenment was a bunch of dog shit?

I dunno. The current situation is unstable though and can't last.

The Abrahamic texts were not written by some "divine" or "celestial" being such as God. It was written by the maker's of civilizations passed who recognized that the general Human population is vastly too stupid to maintain anything good given to them. Thus, their solution was to transform their way of governance and life into a religion, instilling the Fear of God into the Common Man to ensure that he does not unintentionally undo the centuries of work required to get Man where he is.

That is why fundamentalists or those people who are religious who either 1. Take the Bible, Quran, or Talmud literally or 2. Claim to be faithful to a religion while simultaneously not following the commandments of their religion contribute to the downfall of civilization, much like the Atheistic Hedonists.

Most people on Voat don't want their imaginary friend bubble burst, but there was no Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, Mohammed, or whatever the fuck Jews believe in. It's all make belief. What there is is a list of commandments and suggestions outlined in these so-called "Divine" texts that ensure that civilization can be sustainable.

Once you approach any religion with this new understanding, you'll recognize that I am right and without doubt. One must understand that the sacrifice of hedonistic pleasure leads to a much better and healthier life. Unfortunately, one must still shill the idea of Gods and Spirituality to the layman as their brains are not made to handle such information. They are better off believing in an afterlife or two, particularly a Heaven and a Hell.
