I have a theory and it is based on nothing I have seen. It may have been out there however I do not recall seeing it. What if there were/are sleepers that could/would spread the virus that our government cannot find? To me this would explain why everything has closed down. These people have no large targets. My only concern would be if such an uprising would upset any of Q teams plans. I would like to think it would be a display of faith by the US citizens and possibly dissolve some of the partisan barriers.
First, I recommend creating a new username and not giving any details about yourself. Some of the users on this site are very dox-happy and they love to threaten users, once they find out who they are, to get those users to leave the site.
Since this is a new username, you'll do just fine by deleting and making a new username.
When, and if, you do - and even if you don't - please participate by commenting in others' submissions so you build up some Comment Contribution Points (CCP) and also so your username doesn't look like the usernames used by those that caused us to have to approve users to submit text and link posts. That's why this seemingly draconian/censorious hurdle is necessary - those bad users created a bot to make new usernames just like yours to spam our sub to the point it was unusable.
It's nothing personal, but we have to be very careful with the sub now, and adding usernames like yours opens us up to the same kind of spam that caused us to lock down submissions.

This is why someone should make a new voat, make it not crash all the time and then make users pay 1 dollar to join, even if it's refunded. that way you have their credit card and their identity. you disallow anonymous credit cards / prepaids--you reject them and you don't refund THOSE attempts (haha)

Due to the spam mentioned in the submission, everyone was locked from submitting until asking for approval to submit. This limited the ability of the Soros-paid SBBH pedophiles to create an unlimited number of new usernames to spam the sub with. When they did this, the sub was completely unusable.
I am sorry for the inconvenience. Without implementing this measure, there would be no way your submission would even be seen, much less able to get on the front page.

Hi there!
First, I recommend creating a new username and not giving any details about yourself. Some of the users on this site are very dox-happy and they love to threaten users, once they find out who they are, to get those users to leave the site.
Since this is a new username, you'll do just fine by deleting and making a new username.
When, and if, you do - and even if you don't - please participate by commenting in others' submissions so you build up some Comment Contribution Points (CCP) and also so your username doesn't look like the usernames used by those that caused us to have to approve users to submit text and link posts. That's why this seemingly draconian/censorious hurdle is necessary - those bad users created a bot to make new usernames just like yours to spam our sub to the point it was unusable.
It's nothing personal, but we have to be very careful with the sub now, and adding usernames like yours opens us up to the same kind of spam that caused us to lock down submissions.

IMO blocking people from posting at least on a site where you can just ban troublesome users and remove submissions is basically censorship. You're removing the voice of any legitimate newbie who might come and ask questions unless they get approval to post.
I know you have a hard time keeping up with the spam and this seems to be the easiest solution but it is not the best. I am pretty sure you have had at least a year to vet more people to help remove spam and porn and ban bad users after at least one/or more warning.

Maybe, I should have said having to ask mods for permission to submit on a free speech platform seems to be synonymous with censorship at least to me ! There are other ways to defeat bots especially these low energy ones lately like an anti-spam plugin, or an extra step like a non-spyware version of captcha/skill testing question (on a gif,jpg,to make it harder for bot program to read) on registration.
