can someone just quickly explain exactly what kind of threats were levied against srayzie and/or srayzie's children/family? obviously I read the going away message but I don't know what event it was specifically that made him feel like this was the best course of action (and perhaps neccessary for the safety of children/family).
True, zyklon did that to another user who turned out to be his collaborator, months before he publicly targeted srayzie.
Pretty effective intimidation tactic, don't you think? Plant the seed of what he's capable of, then later turn on the heat and start making death threat "jokes" and suicide suggestions?
That's perfectly fine "free speech" "performance art" that Voat should protect.
And I’m not trying to dump on her. I truly liked and supported srayzie. I knew she was going to delete as we were PM’ing and she told me so. She clearly misinterpreted my response, but that’s a different matter.
I would imagine because the attack wasn't merely against her personally, by an outsider with no Voat standing.
It was against her main reason to be on Voat: exposing globalist corruption involving the rape of kids. It became an administrative issue in the moderation of her subverse on the topic. After she tried to address it, it turned into personal attacks, which were also being picked up and amplified off site.
If you saw something you had poured years of your life into being torched, would you be able to keep your hand clamped over your mouth and watch it burn?
Or would you appeal to friends who had helped you before to help put out the fire?

Of course she appealed to her friends. I think a common thread is that srayz did not seem to be accepting of some of the advice which may have led to a different outcome. I am not sure what advice she took and what she discarded.
I can’t imagine who advised srayzie to give the subverse to crensch.

The short of it is, you can’t solve this via ban.

Why didn’t srayzie use the ignore button?
And I’m not trying to dump on her. I truly liked and supported srayzie. I knew she was going to delete as we were PM’ing and she told me so. She clearly misinterpreted my response, but that’s a different matter.
