It’s Srayzie’s own fault for allowing herself to be doxxed.

If you’re going to mod a board that supports a movement like this, don’t be a reckless amateur and put yourself and your family at risk like that.

Other mods haven’t had his problem because hey haven’t been posting about their personal info. They targeted her because she made herself an easy target.

Learn from her mistakes, everyone.

It’s Srayzie’s own fault for allowing herself to be doxxed.

no amount of fuck-ups, real, imaginary, or implied justify the doxx

And no amount of doxxing because of one’s own fuck-ups justifies a new policy of action.

theoldones ago

her fuckups dont mean a thing here, because zyklon and his brigade still werent justified in doing it

Not posting personal info is the equivalent of locking your doors at night.

Yes, it’s illegal and unjustified for someone to break into your house.

But it doesn’t mean we don’t take every measure we can against it.

It’s no different with posting personal info here.

If you don’t want to be known, don’t let yourself be known.

I would assume that most people that post here are well armed and it would be a life altering mistake for someone to show up to their house especially after making threats to them online.

on one hand sure, but on the other hand zyklon_b and all his crew deserve every second of punishment and hate they're getting right now

zyklon_b needs to shoot himself for this thing he did.

My point is, I’m more concerned about a mod posting personal info about theirselves and creating drama about it without admitting their own mistakes so we can all know to avoid this, instead of trying to censor/punish people for offenses that could have been easily avoided.

theoldones ago

that concern doesnt help the situation

like, yeah don't self-doxx but this shit was fucked up

Muntanolva ago

Ok, let's agree that it was fucked up, because I do.

Do you really think censorship will prevent it?

Once someone posts enough personal info, they allow themselves to be doxxed. Once they are doxxed, their info is spread.

No method of action will prevent this besides protecting your personal info.

It's very odd that she calls for action against said doxxers, instead of suggesting the only thing that would actually prevent the issue from even happening altogether.

Back to my previous analogy, it's like complaining about your house getting broken into for leaving your doors open at night, and suggesting the way to stop it from happening again is to kill every intruder instead of shutting and locking your doors. It's a bit asinine.
