This was all staged:

Now, the actor has been arrested and charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report, as Chicago police say that new evidence suggests that Smollett had staged his own attack.

Sad they would take a horrible issue in our American past to use the way they did. That being said, I believe every American should learn about this subject. The book that really opened my eyes was, The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration, by Isabel Wilkerson. It will make us all better Americans and really learn what it means WWG1WGA.

That is not what’s happening at all. You deleted my valid post because you are upset with the actions of others.
I made that post because this morning I realized it was the 22nd, and I didn’t hear about a big thing announced on the 20th/21st.
I just looked at your mod log and I see a bunch of 1990 posts which of course should be deleted. Until moments ago, I didn’t even know they existed. Having said this: That’s nothing to do with me.

My behavior in the thread was reasonably civil, and it spawned a good bit of talk/conjecture about what might have been!
