I researched the case she was defending in SDNY in late 2015 early 2016, brought by AG Preet's office (at the time), against Prevezon. Browder was a key witness for US govt and there was all kinds of BS with government here saying he (Browder) was in London unable to testify while he was simultaneously making the rounds on The Daily show and other friendly forums for the Maginsky Act BS. As of December 2015 she had already overstayed a Visa and nobody could explain to the judge how she was still in the US. The Nixon appointed judge made a ruling Preet didn't like and Presto, a change of judge came down inexplicably, like manna from heaven. Anyway, the ruling the government didn't like was reversed and the case proceeded with a new ruling that barred local US counsel hired by Natalia V from assisting in the defense due to a purported conflict of interest. In other words the case took a very bad turn for Natalia and her client. Shortly after the Trump tower meeting, the supposed 225 million dollar case against Prevezon was settled for something like four or six million, I can't remember which.

She said publicly that Simpson coached her on talking points - although Simpson testified (to congress i think, but not under oath if i remember) that he was unaware of the meeting
