Can someone explain to me why the mods of qresearch on 8chan would (a) take sides in the first place, (b) choose a subverse which is on private for all intents and purposes and (c) do it with such gleeful and reckless abandon?

I wouldn't worry about it. This sub is clearly superior and anyone worth their salt will find it. Consider it a filter and let the shit sink to bottom over there.
