Why should they? They have absolutely no control over these things.

Assuming they all banded together and voted Rand Paul theyd have a voice at least

Remember Ron Paul?

The guy could never have actually won, but he had a strong enough backing he could have forced concessions on party platform.

The Republicans engaged in blatant, outright voter fraud in the public eye. Ron Paul couldn't get any legal action against them from the government.

Ron Paul tried to bypass voting entirely by corrupting the delegates pool. Its shitty, but clever. Honestly, it was necessary. The Republican establishment simply changed the required number of delegates to be one higher than what he had to crowd him out of the convention.

This is pretty technical political stuff. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to sift through the mountains of conspiracy theories and paultard bullshit to get to the actual story.

The point is: The elections are rigged. The primaries are rigged. The whole system is rigged. The parties pick their candidates, and the public picks between the two. Now, the parties have gone so far as to control the media and push single candidates in the public eye.

Because Rand Paul is a politician that doesn't lie?

No one is perfect but he is a hell of a lot better than almost all the others.

Wasn't the same said about Obama? He gave you "change" alright... a change for the worse.

Not having a go at yu mate, but all politicians seem sweet and nice through the election period.

Well, it's not like he's the scion of a political dynasty, like Clinton or Bush or the Kennedys.

Oh...

When dissent is institutionalized, it's no longer dissent.
