I was just walking on that road that is in the ariel video just about 6 weeks ago. That is a nbelievable that that whole place could burn down like that, that is basicly a part of Medford which is a significantly sized city. Ashland andedford at basicly connected by those two smaller towns and that road but it is all one continuously populated area from Medford to Ashland along that road.

yes it is, idiot. you don't understand how fire works. one spark can start a very, very large fire.

dry conditions, mismanagement of forest resources (leaving large amount of dry dead wood without logging or clearing underbrush), and effective suppression of smaller fires for a period of time causes conditions like we see now

one (or multiple) arsonists can start fires that quickly spread and can destroy large areas

this is why forest resources have to be used instead of allowed to pile up into tinder. they will burn eventually

FlatInNH, regular forest fires do not create that kind of damage or fire pattern.

I may not be the smartest with fires but there is no way a fire chooses certain houses to hit so methodically like in these towns and then leaves up all of those trees. It’s obvious they specifically aimed DEW at these houses and who knows what other kind of explosions and weaponry.
