I've always enjoyed cannabis and psilocybin. These have been in use for eons. Its intertwined in many religions. I look at cannabis as 1 step above Coffee when it comes to mind altering drugs.

Some people become lazy, weak and anti social... I suspect those people would be lost even without cannabis.

Since I woke up on The Question I've been taking notice of my lazy anti social behavior. As long as you address the problems in your life there's nothing wrong with having a puff a couple times a day or maybe really "smoking out" once a weekend.

Ya, the issue with Marijuana is in it's sedation, it's also a drug that can kill ones drive, they just wanna chill, get high, snack, but that doesn't help to push society forward, it just causes it to stagnate.

Then you have the other potential issue where people who do smoke it at a young age have an altered short term memory, their capacity to remember is reduced compared to those who haven't smoked because the drug stifled the growth of their brain in that specific part.

Like with all the knowledge in hand, marijuana, hell any drug has potential to be good when taking responsibly but the means of legalizing it is a device to sedate society into complacent drones that work, get high and go back to work, rinse repeat, drones a slave to capitalism.

Alister Crowley used to experiment with hallucinogens on his dinner guests as a form of mind control... the LSD revolution was a pre-planned (as in 'St Peters Snow'....in print years before LSD was 'discovered' ) experiment in mass mind control but failed because it was too uncontrollable with people in the wild.

Stop smoking shit you degenerate.

I'm thinking that jews are for cannabis, not because its bad- but because they want to be the ones in control of it.

Jews want to control everything, good and bad. They also enjoy transforming good things into bad things.

Coffee is so much worse than cannabis its not even comparable. Take away a coffee addicts coffee and they will become agitated to the point of violence. Coffee is ten steps above cannabis in terms of mind altering drugs. If I were president the first thing I would do is make coffee illegal and then all those addicted hypocrites could be persecuted like the cannabis users have been for the past 80 years. Fuck those hypocrites. I want them to have their cars searched cause a dog smells a coffee bean. I want them locked in a cage for years for imbibing in their addictive behavior. Fuck them

Take weed from a weed addict and they will become agitated to the point of violence.

I will fuckin murder you if you try to take away my coffee.

crazy_eyes ago

see what I mean?

The coffee is the only thing standing between a good mood and mass murder. I drink it for YOUR well-being, not mine.

weeeeell now I think you're overreacting a tiny bit. For example yes 1 shot of espresso is more intense than 1 puff of a joint. I'll give you that. Coffee is like speed, its a serious drug...I'll give you that.

Maybe you just havent had good coffee? I really think thats possible. For real good coffee to happen the beans to be recently roasted and then ground RIGHT before you pull a shot of espresso which only if done correctly....will have a red foam on top called "crema". That is real coffee. It is an amazing experience and divine to taste.

Is it addictive? Well....Maybe. Should it be illegal? Fuck no. Will drinking it every day make you die sooner? Maybe a few years yeah. Probably not take as many years off your life as smoking any substances though. Should people be able to live their life as they want to and die in their 50 and 60s of otherwise preventable causes? Yes. Dumbass.

I quit smoking recently (about a year ago) after 23 years. I'd always wondered if it had any effect on me regarding demotivation or reducing intellectual capacity or any other such. Since quitting the major effects I have noticed are as follows:

Dreams are more vivid and frequent (at least I remember them more often)

Memory has improved slightly, barely noticably

Watch fewer movies

Play fewer video games

Sex is less enjoyable

I can't stand people

Difficulty shutting off my mind when I go to sleep (main reason I'd been smoking so long) which causes some insomnia

Honestly I don't think it had any net negative impact on me, though, I was an extremely light smoker. Truth said, the main reason I quit is cause you have to deal with arabs to get any where I live and I can't stand arabs and don't want to give them money.

insomnia

Do you eat enough Omega 3 compared to the Omega 6 and 9 you take in?

I recommend a raw cod liver oil supplement but who the fuck am I, right? Look into it.

Metanoiac ago

I consume a great amount of olive oil. I also eat fish at least once or twice a week and there are a lot of nuts in my diet as well. I think I get my Omega 3s.

I don't think nutrition is the problem. I'm not sure how to say this without coming off as some kind of braggart, so I usually don't mention it, but I'm in the extreme high IQ range. My mind races constantly and sometimes I have trouble shutting down at night.

This is something I have had to deal with my whole life. It was a big part of why I smoked so long. As far as the sex goes, since I would smoke before bed I would be high for sex and it would enhance the sensations.

I do appreciate the friendly advice though. If you have any other suggestions I'll listen. I just don't think the problem is my omega intake.

Varlet ago

Learn to meditate and clear your mind and/or exercise before bed so that you're tired enough to fall asleep right away. Insomnia tends to occur when there is a disconnect in wakefulness between the body and the mind.

Metanoiac ago

Those are both solutions I have used over the years to overcome the problem, even when I was smoking. They do work, though exercise is a lot more efficient than meditation.

Yes mr dundundunnnnn, if that is your real name. Who... Who indeed?

dundundunnnnn ago

I should have worded that way better...haha. Sorry.

Look into Omega 3 ratio and using cod liver oil for vitamins A and D as well as it ups your omega 3 intake. K2 from cheese is important for Vitamin D synthesis.
