And what does this spooky DNA do if it's not inserted into cells? Your body won't magically start to produce proteins from it. See how virus works.

@madmalloy, you're a fucking nigger. This is basic biology and yet you keep posting that garbage. Are you trying to allude that those who oppose vaccines are loon?

What are virtosomes?

exDNA (extracellular DNA) is often bound to other plasma constituents such as RNA, lipids and proteins, being in that case called virtosomes (Fig. ?(Fig.1).1). As part of virtosomes, exDNA shows the ability to migrate to different parts of the body, enter target cells and alter their physiological properties such as the immune response, by sharing antigenic information (Anker et al. 1984; Aucamp et al. 2016; Skog et al. 2008). Peters and Pretorius (2012) highlighted that this active release and uptake of nucleic acids is a characteristic of all organisms and cell types, and that in contrast to the neo-Darwinian dogma, physical and behavioural traits can be inherited through this cycling. This is because there has been found evidence that not only somatic but also germ cells might be subject to genetic and epigenetic modifications via exDNA (intensively reviewed and discussed by Aucamp et al. 2016).

Oh, so vaccines can contain something called Polysorbate 80, for example, which is a nonionic surfactant and emulsifier. Does it emulsify exDNA?

But sure. If you feel it's all kosher, by all means go load up on some cancerous exDNA. Don't ask any stupid questions while you do it either, goy.

I'm not pro vaccine, I just hate the fucking fear porn and disinfo shared by @madmalloy and others. Thanks for the reference to virtosomes. I didn't know about that. Though, from my short read, it seems that it's not just external DNA, but that it does have a structure which facilitate the uptake from living cells.

Ok. I give you kudos for accepting the new information. I was harsh in my other comment to you, because I have a low tolerance for arrogance and overconfidence. It's not good, especially when the health and future of humans are at stake. Stuff like this is usually much more complicated than we think. Of course my quote above does not guarantee anything, but it just shows that there are other mechanisms for exDNA transfer also, than we might initially think.

Good scientists in Biophysics, Biochem, Molecular Biology (all converging disciplines) are very hesitant to assert anything, because it is abundantly clear how little we do know. I find the attitudes refreshing.
