Don't astronauts need training? Don't they have to be quarantined before a mission? This is bulshit to try to create hype so people give a shit about NASA.
While I am inclined to agree with your perspective, the article does state that they must meet all the normal requirements, the only real difference is you dont work for them and are strictly a passenger and guest, again... according to the article.
I dont know fuck all about it but I thought it was interesting that they were so broke they had to sell tickets.
There is a catch, though: You'll need to raise your own cash, and it won't be cheap.
A round-trip ticket likely will cost an estimated $58 million. And accommodations will run about $35,000 per night, for trips of up to 30 days long, said NASA's chief financial officer Jeff DeWit.
How does one even know they wont just be exploded to make an example against civilian (private) space programs?
Having never been to the space station, I have no actual knowledge as to whether it really exists (dont look at me like that), it could be a suicide run for all I know. Just being honest about what I know vs what I am taught to believe.
Yeah you got to be careful about exposing yourself in terms of doubting NASA on voat oh you can doubt everything question everything but don't question Almighty fucking NASA!
Yeah the International Space Station apparently there's an app that you can use to track it I was walking to a concert and these guys were looking it up in the air and sure enough they told me yes it's the International Space Station zooming by was going pretty fast very bright light definitely artificial man made object for sure.
That's as far as I've come to the International Space Station who knows we live in such a cloud world where everything is fucking fake who knows if TPTB FAKED the iss.
I prefer to remain skeptical until I actually have definitive proof rather than just believing what other people tell me or what my school told me what my professors told me because we've been fed a line of bull shit so much that our natural default position should be extreme skepticism.

I'll save money and buy one-way.

Where to go after 30 days?
gets popcorn

Yeah sure time to start a GoFundMe page. Traveling to the space station and staying up there for 30 days does not sound very appealing to me.
