In the 70's I almost died of meningitis, which my parents hid, and the same year my brother contracted aplastic anemia which he died from 4 years later. My Mom said they were at the National Institute of Health for my brother with other sick kids (and Jewish doctors) Like a research group. This disease is very rare. Only 2 pockets in California and Hawaii in the seventies. As for me, who the hell knows. I have memory loss. We all had spinal taps at NIH
