He was granted asylum in Iceland, where he was considered a hero despite not being in any way Icelandic, and spent the last years of his life there living on the goodwill and generosity of his hosts, yet he showed absolutely no gratitude, only self-entitlement.
Everyone is focusing on the fact that he was a non-religious jew who despised other jews, which is all fine and good, and correctly saw 9/11 as the jewish perpetrated conspiracy it was, but his abrasive personality, his absolute egotism, and complete lack of empathy for even those who were close to him negate any other qualities he displayed or opinions he had.
