the water supply is publicly treated with flouride, a known neurotoxin.
regarding your assertion - how do you know the effect of a theoretical element being introduced into the atmosphere? if the quantities are small that would suggest that rather than acting as a direct agent its purpose is to trigger some other action in the atmosphere - this is why weather modification is a strong theory.
It's water vapor. You can find out exactly which planes those are with a simple app on your phone...watch them take off, watch them land. They are just passenger planes leaving normal vapor condensation trails.
However, the trails, which are artificial clouds, can effect weather.
Nothing to see here, but the air traffic close to an international airport. Charlotte has an average of 147 destination flights and nearly 700 daily departures.
The trails left behind air planes are water crystals left behind after the combustion of jet fuel. To claim that these are "chemtrails" is an unsubstantiated claim with no evidence to back it up.
Regardless of whether you think they are intentionally spraying, isn't clear that this is an environmental/pollution problem? That is not water vapor, that is soot from fuel exhaust. It's dangerous and contributing to global warming don't you think?
I agree that aviation is a contributor to climate change (3.5 percent) and I think it would be reasonable to further limit, regulate and tax air travel, but I also think that its transportation benefits outweigh the partial impact on global climate.
The trails left behind airplanes are, however, for the most part just water vapor. The large amount of invisible CO2 emissions from airplanes are more worrisome than the visible condensation trails.
If you want to further learn about why chemtrails are bs
Do you acknowledge that there is such thing as Cloud Seeding, Solar Radiation Management and Geoengineering? Are you aware of Geoengineering companies such as www.weathermodification.com?
Even if they aren't spraying, there is a measurable effect of all that air pollution, after 9/11:
He found that [PDF], for those three days, the average range between highs and lows at more than 4,000 weather stations across the US was 1 degree C wider than normal. In other words, contrails seemed to raise nighttime temperatures and lower daytimes ones.
But the real effect was in daytime highs, which were much higher. That would seem to indicate that, contrary to prevailing thinking, contrails might have a net cooling effect.
So do you believe carbon emissions are the cause of global warming or the Sun? If you are insisting that carbon pollution actually reduces the temperature, why then do so many people believe carbon emissions cause global warming?
But I have read that article before and it is the basis for the idea of "Global Dimming" which is a Geoengineering technique: Spray the sky completely so it becomes overcast and blocks out the Sun, hence lower temperatures.
PS: Your second picture shows a plane with nozzles underneath the middle, not "spewing out the back". Logically it goes back due to physics, but the spray is coming from BENEATH the MIDDLE.
What chemicals are we suspecting that they spray, or more simply, what is the perceived goal/effect of chemtrails? As someone not in the know, but genuinely curious.
Edit: Thanks for the replies @samtrovaum and @my_p3t_goat, and screw off whoever downvoated a legitimate question. I live two hours north of Charlotte and found this post genuinely interesting.

Yeah I'll just bike on over the rocky mountains to visit friends on the west coast for the weekend lol
You're right about airplane pollution though, personally I like the idea of high-speed rail systems.

Object permanence is a thing, though. Something doesn't have to be seen to have an effect on nature or your body.

Brb, just gonna bike over to Europe quick.

You think that "water vapor" is coming out of the back of a fuel burning engine? At the very least, it's CO2 emissions right?

Geoengineering us all to hell.
arrggg ago
It is not just water, it is exhaust from burning kerosene, benzene, toluene, xylenes and naphthalene. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2010/10/101005-planes-pollution-deaths-science-environment/

It's the issue of what is in those fuels.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_fuel#Additives
And this is just the civilian fuels. Military crafts use insanely destructive additives, but comparison.

Jet fuel exhaust is not just water vapor.
JP8 jet fuel is a kerosene-based fuel. It contains benzene, toluene, xylenes and naphthalene. When it burns, the exhaust contains these toxic chemicals as well. http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxfaqs/TF.asp?id=772&tid=150

You still haven't explained how a plane generates contrails at near ground level and the ability to come on and off mid-flight.
samtrovaum ago
Yes, they do. Look it up.

Have you ever seen a commercial plane make "contrails" while landing
Or turning "contrails" on and off

Geoengineering in my opinion. This is the website of one of the current leading Geoengineering companies: http://www.weathermodification.com/

Weather manipulation, among other things. Here are the chemical patents.
