So the media has been fully erect for months over Daesh and the possibility of radicalization of youth via the internet and their ability to then carry out lone-wolf attacks. Now there is what appears to be one by Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez and... it's not on the front page of Reddit, MSNBC is off still talking about the confederate flag, foreign media outlets don't even have it in the minor articles.
The Boston marathon bombings by Islamic radicals killed fewer people and they caused a mass panic for days. What is different this time? Why is it barely national news? What is being hidden?

As far as the news sites go, maybe their seeing that covering violence is not slowing violence so their going in a different direction? Maybe their doing what journalist are meant to do and getting all the facts. I'm optimistic but maybe. I did see CNN and MSNBC cover the shooting briefly, I live in Chattanooga and knew it happened 30 min to an hour after it happened, but nothing more.

Nice one friend! Very humorous!
Nah but really, "if it bleeds it leads". Shit like this is always going to make the news unless it goes against some sort of agenda.

Like I said, I'm optimistic. Another reason your not hearing about may in fact because it was domestic terrorism, plain and simple and news sites banned that word along time ago.

This is why the Waco explosion, just after the "Boston Bombing" got relatively little coverage; it was real domestic terrorism. Even though five times more people died in Waco and 150 homes were damaged or destroyed, it was overshadowed in the news cycle, because it was real.
