Why do some flat earthers reject the existence of Leprechauns? Pot 'o Gold deniers is what they are.

Ha have an upvote. I understand my wording wasn’t the best. I obviously don’t expect all goats to believe in Flat Earth. Just funny how many downvotes any mention of it gets on a site that is full of so many “red-pilled” folks.

I'll tell you what. If you can induce @TheBuddha to consider your theories on flat/infinite plane earth, and present evidence that stumps him, I'll take it seriously enough to physically confirm one way or another.

It gets downvotes because it's retarded. A scale, a weight, and a car are enough to demonstrate the planet is an oblate spheroid. Hell, you can do it with a watch, a stick, and a hike.

Have you ever talked to any of those people? There are a surprising number here on voat, and some accounts you wouldn't expect. They have websites and videos, and some pretty crazy theories about the firmament, ice walls and infinite planes guarded by the UN, and more. I can see why you wouldn't have patience for it, but as you just pointed out, you argue on such a practical level that... Now that I think about it, you'd probably scare them off with the first comment. I sometimes get a kick out of watching things and people malfunction, so I'm probably a little more accommodating.

Btw, I'm going to be sending out some hot pepper seeds when the baggies arrive in a couple days. If you're interested in some, PM me an address. You'd have to get them well started indoors before the ground thaws up there. A few different types and heat levels. One super sweet variety too. Let me know if interested.

I'll let you know, but it's unlikely that I'm interested - and I do greatly appreciate the offer. I grow a huge garden and have the means to put anything in there that I'd like. Additionally, we're getting three giant greenhouses built over the summer, though those are for the farm. So, I'll dedicate maybe 1/4 of one for my projects and the missus' projects, but that won't be ready until well into the end of summer. I'd not try to grow exotic pepper types up here, at least not without a greenhouse. My growing season is short and fairly cool.

If you look on the grow zone maps, you'll see I'm in the middle of a strange microclimate. (3b, as I recall.) Even regular peppers have issues here. So, peppers are going to have to wait and, to be honest, I'd almost certainly lose the seeds.

Shit, if anything, I should be sending you folks some seeds. Hmm... I should consider doing that, though I'll need to organize and see what's worth actually sending. I have some delicious tomatoes that they've grown on the farm for as long as anyone can remember. I don't think they even have a name. They are the kinda tomatoes you can eat like an apple - and not even need to salt 'em.

Anyhow, moving on...

Oh, yes... Yes, I have talked to people who seem to believe, in earnest, that the planet is not a spherical object. They're idiots.

They overlap heavily with another group of idiots, those that don't think we landed on the moon. Explaining that it's nearly impossible to fake it, and impossible to fake it on the world stage, does no good. I don't even bother to try.

One of my favorite sayings:

"You can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into."

I'm sending some to Middle_Path, who seems to have some sort of seed distribution planned for later this month. Adding delicious tomato seeds to it would be great.

As far as the greenhouses go, I was interested in those, but almost all my growing was indoors and completely controlled. It's probably not as economical these days with all the new laws.
