People have been conditioned to not look into and to outright reject more "out there" or "extreme" beliefs.

"How could people lie so much! Someone would leak the secret! Why would they lie?"

In spite of no doubt having personal experiences of how much things are mismanaged, how much others misinform them. They cannot make the mental leap that something is fishy or partially false, to completely made up from the ground up. It just goes too far for them, they would know nothing about the world if this was true.

And there's the important concept that many don't realize - no one is actually verifying things. They're just parroting what an authority told them, because they were trained to believe in authority. And if there's one thing I've learned it's that trusting an authority is a huge mistake.

They do leak the truth too, they just don't make a big deal about it. Hollywood is always "joking" about the fake moon landing. Astros have lots of footage of them messing up. Buzz said we never went during a word salad Q&A answer. Etc. But they cannot see it, they're conditioned.

Outer space is fake and the world is a geo centric system. I personally think we don't have enough information to say what shape the Earth is exactly - no doubt all the maps are deliberately inaccurate. The important thing is the implications of such a massive deception - what else are they lying about? Everything?
