Alright. Doing some research on the subject I've found that, for one, the naturalnews article is copying an 8 year old article, and secondly, that Hayes's research has been called into question.
Isn't funny how when SciAm does an article about how the WTC came down due to thermal expansion it becomes gospel and indisputable, yet the same publication does a report on a banned (in the EU) but widely used chemical, suddenly the publication becomes disputable? Funny that...
Regarding the article age, if you had read the comments above you would see that we are all well aware this is old news, which is why Alex Jones has been saying they're turning the frogs gay for the better part of the last decade...
Scientific American is not an authoritative source. It's a popsci magazine that takes actual research and dumbs it down, and sometimes gets it wrong. Science is a moving target as our understanding of the problem changes.
